Cooper at Eight Months
(September 14, 2013)
Well this past month has been crazy! But in a good way : ) Cooper has started getting very mobile. He is doing the little army crawl thing around the house. Every so often he'll pull up his knees under him, but he's yet to actually crawl. Regardless, he makes it around the house rather quickly doing his little belly crawl. He also has cut 2 more teeth putting him at a whopping 5 chompers. He is still the happiest little thing and has a smile for anything and everything. He really likes watching Mickey Mouse on TV and has mastered moving around in his walker. I did end up taking him to the doctor this month because he was tugging on his ears (just ended up being teething symptoms), but they weighed him and he weighed in at 20lbs! Our little chunker : )
Is this one of the reasons they say not to put bumpers in cribs?
getting adventurous
There are not a lot of pictures of Cooper from this month because the majority of them fall into photos when the hubby's family visited or when we went to California. Below are the pictures from our visit with the Richrdsons....California pictures will be posted later.
The following pictures are from when Gammy, Grandad, Uncle Dave, Aunt Cristin, Tyler and Kylie all made the trip down to NC to see us this past month! It was so nice to see everyone and be able to have a house full of family, which is very rare for us down here. We went to the pool, spent an afternoon at the Natural Science Museum and ate A LOT. But mostly, we just enjoyed eachothers company and let everyone spoil our little ones : )
During our visit we spent an afternoon at the Greensboro Natural Science Museum and Aquarium. Ryleigh had lots of fun looking at and playing with all the animals! Cooper fell asleep.
Ryleigh ran into a friend from school while at the museum
